ABOUT

About Me

Hey — I’m Will. I’m a chef based in Chicago with over a decade of experience in professional kitchens, including a few years in Michelin-starred restaurants. I got into this line of work for one reason: I love to cook. Always have. I obsess over food, ingredients, and technique — not just the end result, but the process of making something incredible with your own two hands.

However, as I moved up the ladder — from cook to chef — I started spending more time behind a desk than at the stove. My days became filled with schedules, food costs, and spreadsheets, necessary stuff, sure, but not what made me fall in love with cooking in the first place.

That’s why I started Edible Curiosity.

Why Edible Curiosity Exists

Edible Curiosity is a space for reconnecting with the parts of cooking that matter most — the creativity, the learning, the satisfaction of making something great from raw ingredients.

This blog is about honest food, tested techniques, and real kitchen stories. It’s a space where food comes first — not trends, not ego, or perfection. I created this platform to share recipes I truly believe in. Some are traditional and time-honored; others are original and born from experimentation., but all of them are written with care, tested in real kitchens, and meant to get people cooking.

The goal is simple: Create delicious, reliable recipes . Whether you’re brand new to cooking or you’ve already got years at the stove, this is a place to stay curious, challenge yourself, and keep growing.

What You’ll Find Here

On Edible Curiosity, you’ll find:

  • Tested, reliable recipes – Classic or original, every dish has been cooked, tweaked, and dialed in until it’s somthing worth sharing.
  • A curious approach – I’m always asking why, or how something works, and I bring that mindset to every recipe and technique I post.
  • Flavor-forward cooking – I believe that Ingredients come first, and technique supports them. When you keep these two things in mind incredible food follows
  • A food-first philosophy – This platform is here to keep food first, always.
